why
Emile Peynaud’s book “Le Goût du Vin” sparked my passion for wine. It also inspired the creation of this wine and the quest for new wine flavours, adding several grape and terroir profiles together in a new and original equation.
You are, of course, familiar with the Sauvignon Blanc… But the Loin de l’Œil grape variety? probably not! It is a grape variety that is native to the South-West of France and particularly present in the Tarn. We chose it because we adore its typical citrus and white flower notes, which blend perfectly with the intense fruity aromas of the Sauvignon.
