why
Emile Peynaud’s book “Le Goût du Vin” sparked my passion for wine. It also inspired the creation of this wine and the quest for new wine flavours, adding several grape and terroir profiles together in a new and original equation.
Back in 18th century Bordeaux it was customary to blend the elegance of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux with the power of the Syrah from the Rhône Valley. With this in mind, I wanted to bring you a blend of a Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux and a Syrah from our winegrowing playground in France’s great South-West.
